Santa Fe can arrange for tailored city tours to give relocating individuals and their family an introduction to day to day life in their new country. Each of the places visited is well documented including photographs and any other helpful information.
Specific agenda items during a Familiarisation will include:
- Instructions on how to use public transport systems.
- Currency information: exchange rates, familiarisation with notes and coins, where to exchange money.
- Safety information: where to shop and how to get there, places to avoid, do's and don'ts.
- Tipping information, bargaining practices.
- Places to shop for food and dining, plus sources of sanitary drinking water.
- Where to find simple remedies for common ailments.
- Local markets, department stores, and other shopping establishments popular with expatriates.
- Leisure activities, social and volunteer opportunities, education and recreation facilities.
The required transportation during a Familiarisation programme is provided by Santa Fe. For full or multiple day programmes, lunch is also provided.
