Destination Services update: Expiration agreement Brazil-Italy for conversion of driving licence

Foreign citizens who have obtained Italian residence and have a Brazilian driving licence have to convert their driving licence within one year of having taken the residency in Italy.

Since the current Agreement will expire on the 13th of January and has yet to be renewed by the Government, holders of Brazilian driving licences will only be able to convert their driving licence until the 13th of January 2023. After this date, holders of the Brazilian driving licence will not be able to convert their driving licence anymore, and the holders will have to obtain the Italian driving licence through the test.
