China operations update | Shanghai city to lift lockdown restrictions on 1 June 2022

Based on the latest announcement released by Shanghai Government: Shanghai authorities will lift the city’s two-month long lockdown from midnight on Wednesday, 1 June, 2022. Shanghai will restore access to residential compounds, public transport and motor vehicle traffic in an orderly manner.
根据上海市政府发布的最新通知:自6月1日0时起，上海市将有序恢复小区、公共交通和机动车通行。
Moving
Based on the current government policy, our Shanghai operations can start to provide limited services, including the pre-packing material delivery from 1 June with some limitations as there are currently compounds that have not yet received official permission to re-open and this will become clearer shortly. We are closely communicating with all parties to ensure the quick resumption of normal services to all of our clients per the government regulations. We expect our Move Team to resume work at the office in the next 1-2 days.
Destination Services
With the upcoming removal of lock-down restrictions in Shanghai on 1 June, Santa Fe has proactively researched with all relevant parties such as residential compounds, banks, international schools etc and we are positive that accompanied destination service programs can be offered starting from week commencing 6 June with the COVID-19 containment measures for visitors.
Immigration
The Shanghai Public Security Bureau will open for application submission from 1 June, and prior online appointment scheduling is required. We have been working with our clients closely to prepare the application documents and the physical submission appointments will be organized as soon as the online appointment is successfully secured.
