Immigration update : Indonesia | Shortened quarantine period for fully vaccinated individuals
The COVID-19 Task Force has issued Circular Number 12 of 2022 on Health Protocols for International Travel during COVID-19 Pandemic. The Directorate General of Immigration also issued circular letter No.IMI-0525.GR.01.01 of 2022 regarding Visit Visa on Arrival specifically for tourism in Bali during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Who are affected?
International travellers who want to enter Indonesia.
Impact
• Mandatory quarantine for international travellers is shortened to 1 x 24 hours for travellers who have received the 2nd or 3rd dose of the COVID vaccine
• Foreign travellers from 23 countries below are allowed to enter Indonesia through airports and ports in Bali for tourism purpose with Visa on Arrival and are no longer required to quarantine:

5. Philippines
6. The United Kingdom
7. Italy
8. Japan
9. Germany
10. Cambodia
11. Canada
12. South Korea
13. Laos
14. Malaysia
15. Myanmar

18. New Zealand
19. Singapore
20. Thailand
21. Turkey
22. United Arab Emirates
23. Vietnam
• Domestic travellers who are completely vaccinated are no longer required to show a negative Antigen or PCR test result.
Implementation
Effective from 8 March 2022 and will be evaluated periodically.
