Delays in Immigration Services in Poland
This is to inform you that due to many application in Polish Immigration offices the time frame of documents obtaining changed:
Work permit for local position:
Labor office check – up to 30 days
Work permit decision obtaining – up to 4 months
Work visa obtaining in Polish Embassy of the place of residency – e.g. Ukraine, India, Algeria – 4-6 months, all other 2-3 weeks.
Work permit- secondment:
From the day of application – 3-4 months
Work visa obtaining in Polish Embassy of the place of residency – e.g. Ukraine, India, Algeria – 4-6 months, all other 2-3 weeks.
Residence permit:
From the day of application it may be 5-24 months – depends on the city of application.
EU registration
From the day of application 1-6 months – depends on the city of application.
Minimum salary
Starting from Jan 1st, 2020 the minimum salary has been raised up to 2600 PLN gross per month.
Please be aware that in some cities of Poland, the address registration can be only arrange after the EU registration is ready
To avoid any delays, we strongly recommend you to start the immigration procedure in Poland 4-8 months before the Assignment is planned.
