Air Borders – Flights from and to UK suspended from Jan 23rd, 2020
Following the conference between European leaders, Portuguese Prime Minister guaranteed that “it was decided to keep the borders open, but in relation to Third Countries we decided to maintain the existing measures to control the pandemic”. Within the European Union, borders will not be closed, however, new conditions might be required.
Th main decision was related to flights from Portugal to the United Kingdom, and from the United Kingdom to Portugal, they are suspended as of 12 am on Jan 23rd, Saturday. From then on, there will only be flights of a humanitarian nature and for repatriation.
