International moving update 13 April 2022

The European Union adopts the fifth round of sanctions. This includes a ban on any Russian and Belarusian road transport, preventing them from transporting goods by road within the EU, including in transit. The EU has given carriers from Russia and Belarus until April 16 to leave. The EU has made an exception for vehicles transporting products, such as pharmaceutical, medical, agricultural and food products, including wheat and for road transport for humanitarian purposes.

This will cause significant delays. Santa Fe is exploring alternative solutions, including using European-based carriers and sending shipments via sea and air. In the meantime, short to mid-term storage is an excellent option. We can collect and store your belongings in one of our secure storage facilities.
