International moving update 5 May 2022
Moscow

Despite the current warfare in Ukraine, Santa Fe still offer road transportation through the Baltic States using our European carriers (Baltic States and Poland). Because of the difficult conditions, we naturally have a shortage of vehicles and are experiencing longer queues at border crossings and customs terminals. Nevertheless, Santa Fe Relocation are determined to continue to provide relocation services. Please bear in mind however, that these facts inevitably affect the cost of transportation and increase transit time.

There have been no significant updates with regards to air and sea transportation.

Kyiv

Remarkably, Marina, our Santa Fe Relocation representative, has succeeded in restoring operations in the war-torn city of Kyiv. Not only in the administration office but also in the packing and unpacking warehouses. There are, of course, plenty of roadblocks on the streets of Kyiv and this has hampered operations accordingly. There is no current shortage of food but the variety is less. The biggest logistical problem is fuel. 70% came from Russia and of course, that direction is now closed. Packers/Subcontractors are very busy but transport possibilities are limited. Please be aware that all services need prepayment.

As always, our top priority is to ensure the safety of our customers and employees during the delivery of services. In the first instance, please get in touch with your local Santa Fe Relocation representative or email emergency.support@santaferelo.com to discuss how we can assist you with your relocation requirements.

Santa Fe Relocation are actively monitoring this situation and are adapting to assist you and your assignees. We will keep you aware of any further developments.
