No matter what your interests are, there’s a festival out there for you. From all genres of music, art, dance and culture, a festival brings everyone together. Whether it’s your first ever festival, or you’re a festival pro, make going to one in your new home country a priority. It’s a great way to get out, meet new people, celebrate and have fun with your friends and try all sorts of food.

So, here’s our guide for the best festivals across the globe, taking place this July. Grab your tickets (or wristbands!) while you can!

Open’er Festival
Gydnia – Poland
3 – 6th July

One for the music lovers – if you’re a fan of rock, indie, pop and rap music this is the place for you. This incredible music festival attracts huge names from across the music industry: the line-up is always a real who’s-who of the charts and industry legends. And on top of the incredible musical offerings, the festival is home to a huge fashion stage, where budding designers display their collections to a 90,000 strong crowd.

Exit Festival
Novi Sad – Serbia
4 – 7th July

This is one hot EDM festival – the temperatures in Serbia in summer are scorching and the line-up makes Exit Festival one of Europe’s biggest dance music festivals. If you enjoy techno and bass, niche house music, and a touch of the mainstream, this incredible summer party is the place for you. Our highlight: dancing the night away in a giant moat!

Paris Jazz Festival
Paris – France
30 June – 22nd July

The Paris Jazz Festival brings huge names to France’s capital city, to perform traditional and new music to jazz fans from around the globe. Alongside the big names, this is the place to find new emerging talent. And if that wasn’t impressive enough, all of the acts perform in the beautiful and impressive Parc Floral.

Love International Festival
Tisno – Croatia
3- 10th July

Few festivals are set in against a more impressive backdrop: Love International is set in the hills, overlooking the incredible Dalmation Coast. The backdrop and surroundings make this a perfect festival and holiday in one! Packed full of impressive electronic music DJ’s, expect open-air performances, dancing on the beach, secret parties on islands and boats, and partying until the sun comes up!

Manchester International Festival
Manchester – United Kingdom
4 – 21st July

For the lovers of art, culture, music and theatre, look no further than the Manchester International Festival. The festival is forward thinking, with a focus on music and the creative arts. Running for 3 weeks, the conceptual performances transform spaces across the city. Hurry and get booking, as this event only runs once every two years!

Terraforma
Milan – Italy
5 – 7th July

Arts. Music. Fashion. Terraforma, in fashion capital Milan, brings you three days of performances, workshops and lectures covering everything from upcoming trends to sustainability and environmental causes. With it’s eco-friendly and sustainable set up, this is an impressive and thoughtful festival.

Pete the Monkey
Normandy – France
11 – 13th July

This under-the-radar (for now) festival focusses its efforts on merging the cultural and musical greatness festival goers demand with excellent eco-friendly efforts. Expect the unexpected, with a wide range of interesting and often unique acts. And all proceeds from the event are donated to a wildlife charity!

Melt Festival
Ferropolis – Germany
19 – 21st July

Welcome to Germany’s three day electro and indie festival – Melt! This huge alternative music festival draws crowds from across Europe, keen to dance the night away. While camping by the lake is part of the fun, why not consider booking a ride on the sleeper train which ferries sleepy visitors to and from the festival, delivering them back to a host of German cities every night.

Splendour in the Grass
Byron Bay – Australia
19 – 21st July

For the biggest names in music, take a trip to Australia’s biggest winter festival. Set in the picturesque North Byron Parklands, Splendour attracts some of the worlds beset known artists, as well as an eclectic mix of global music artists and up and coming stars. Expect hidden stages, a tipi forest, light shows and silent discos.
