Supporting international talent mobility in Málaga

Santa Fe Relocation recently participated in the seminar International mobility and teleworking: Málaga as a business hub for global talent, delivered in collaboration with FEEX Asociación Española de Movilidad Laboral Internacional and hosted at the Cámara de Comercio de Málaga. The session brought together institutional representatives and mobility specialists to examine how international workforce models are evolving as organisations reassess cross-border employment, remote work structures and global talent access.

Discussion centred on the movement of highly qualified professionals, the growing presence of digital nomad populations and the structural trends influencing how cities position themselves as international talent hubs. As organisations expand location flexibility, the need for clear immigration frameworks, compliant employment structures and coordinated destination support continues to grow in parallel.

Santa Fe contributed operational insight drawn from supporting clients managing international assignments, business travellers and remote workforce populations across multiple jurisdictions. Conversations focused on aligning policy intent with real-world delivery, ensuring organisations can mobilise talent efficiently while maintaining governance, compliance and employee experience standards.

The seminar also featured contributions from Luis Esteban-Manzanares Fernández-Roldán, Head of the Large Companies and Strategic Groups Unit within the Sub-Directorate General for Immigration and International Mobility at Spain’s Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration, Ángeles González-Vigil, Secretary General at FEEX Asociación Española de Movilidad Laboral Internacional, and Irene Martin Collado, Director of Santa Fe Relocation Services. These shared perspectives reinforced the importance of collaboration between government bodies, industry associations and mobility partners in enabling sustainable international talent strategies.

Engagements like this allow Santa Fe to remain closely connected to the policy conversations shaping Global Mobility while continuing to support clients with practical, future-ready workforce solutions across Southern Europe and beyond.
