Santa Fe Relocation update: Runar Nilsen is the new CEO of Santa Fe Relocation

We are excited to share that Runar Nilsen has been appointed the new CEO of Santa Fe Relocation effective from January 16, 2023.

I am very pleased that Runar Nilsen has accepted to be appointed CEO of Santa Fe Relocation. With his many years of experience he has great insight in both leadership, market, and customers which is valuable in the next chapter of developing our company,” says former CEO Yann Blandy

Runar Nilsen has been Deputy CEO at Santa Fe Relocation since 2019 and has co-led the transformation together with Yann Blandy.

In only three years Santa Fe Relocation has gone from financial struggles into growth and profitability. Despite significant interruptions due to COVID Santa Fe Relocation has made great progress, and now we are ready to present a new leadership team with even more industry competency and geared towards profitable growth rather than heavily focused on restructuring,” says Runar Nilsen.

With this in mind, we are happy to present the new global leadership team and management structure with Runar Nilsen as the new CEO as well as the following promotions:

  • James Gooding has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer (COO) of MOVE and is joining the Global Leadership Team. He will continue to serve as Cluster Lead of the North Asia cluster and oversee Agent & Partner relations globally as well as MOVE operations in the USA and ESG.
  • Julia Palmer has been promoted to Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and will continue to serve as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of RELO.
  • Nick Malcomson: from now on Legal & Compliance as well as Vendor Management & Procurement will report to Nick; this is in addition to his CFO responsibilities.
  • Olivier Jourdan: from now on Customer Experience (CX), including Implementation, will report to Olivier; this is in addition to his CCO responsibilities.

Yann Blandy will remain committed to Santa Fe Relocation but in a more focused role as Executive Chairman of the Board. In his new role, Yann Blandy will continue to engage directly with partners and agents as well as attend industry conferences to represent Santa Fe. Yann will also remain the executive sponsor of his existing key clients and continue as Chairman of Sanelo.

Feel free to reach out to Runar Nilsen or Yann Blandy for any questions you may have.
