Update on the situation

Overall the status remains highly volatile. The provision of relocation services, including international and domestic freight shipping in and around Ukraine, Belarus and Russia, is severely disrupted.

Freight overview

There have been no significant changes since our last update. Shipping lines including COSCO, Evergreen, FESCO, Hapag Lloyd, Maersk, MSC, OOCL and SACO remain suspended and do not operate from Russian ports. Other sea carriers continue their service with limited capacity whilst transportation from Baltic ports remains active. Airfreight from Russia is possible, but route options are minimal. Our Russian team remains operational and is doing all they can to help our customers.

Recommendations

Please allow for some flexibility in your planning when moving employees in and out of these locations. Consider relocating your assignees and their families separately from their goods to allow for better planning and pricing.

Short to mid-term storage is an excellent option to keep your goods safe. We can collect and store your belongings in one of our secure storage facilities until it’s safe to transfer back or ship to a new destination.
