Tell us about yourself?
I am from North India! I am 26 years old. I love to keep moving around and have studied and worked in 5 different cities over the past 8 years! My interests are music, fashion and fitness!

Tell us about Santa Fe?
Our team helps people find new homes, communities and experiences wherever they go with our comprehensive household goods, destination services, and immigration programmes.

What do you do at work?
I am an Account Services Manager. My job is to keep our key clients happy while upselling and cross-selling across services and helping meet our revenue targets.

Why did you choose Santa Fe?
I like to keep flexible in my roles and aim to build an understanding of the entire business, across service lines and functions, be it supporting with finance, operations, or HR. I chose Santa Fe because the graduate program offered me that opportunity of working across different departments and functions over 2 years and then deciding my niche.

Why did we choose you?
I think Santa Fe chose me because they recognized that I am a great individual contributor who is easily trainable. Also, my previous experiences working with big multinationals spoke to the quality of my work, my ability and work ethic.

What is your greatest achievement at work?
With help from some excellent teams and the management at Santa Fe India, I was able to create synergy around cash flow, clear significant invoicing backlogs and establish a process workflow for some of our key accounts.

What is your greatest achievement in life?
I have taught myself to remain optimistic in the most harrowing of times.

What or who inspires you in your life and at work?
In my life, I would say my mom. She didn’t have access to a lot growing up but despite the difficulties, she built a stellar life for herself. She is responsible for all that I am today. At work, I think every person that I connect with inspires me in some way and helps me grow professionally. Also, my fellow grads that I joined Santa Fe with, they have been my rock!

What is the best thing about working at Santa Fe?
The environment of mutual respect without hierarchal bias.

What is the best thing about our horse?
It runs with heart.

What is the best advice you can give to people?
“Promise me that you’ll give faith a fighting chance and when you get the choice to sit it out or dance, I hope you dance”

What would you do in the event of a zombie apocalypse?
Realise that I am dreaming and scare myself awake!

There are now 25 hours in a day, how would you spend the extra hour?
I would join a boxing class!

If you could travel anywhere, where would you go?
London, Spain, Japan, Switzerland.. the list is endless.

How did you find this interview?
Short and sweet!

Santa Fe sincerely thanks Roopsi for contributing to this initiative and for sharing her story with us!
