Tell us about yourself?
I am a father of 2 and based in Malaysia. Driven and enjoys collaboration especially in dealing with challenging situation.
I enjoy sports and outdoor activities during my free time.

Forward-looking and global organisation. An organisation that actively anticipate changes in market requirement to align its direction.

What do you do at work?
I am the Finance Director for South Asia Cluster, in which responsible for the finance function of Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia and Vietnam. Working together with all other functions in order to achieve seamless processes that will finally translate into a great customer experience.

Why did you choose Santa Fe?
The global exposure from being with a big multinational company and the opportunity to collaborate with people across the globe. I started with Santa Fe being based in Indonesia office, before relocating back to Malaysia. That itself has been a wonderful part of my life.

Why did we choose you?
I believe it is based on my professional background and the personality that fits the organisation’s requirement.

What is your greatest achievement at work?
Not easy to pinpoint one having to go through various challenges before. However getting through the pandemic period last year with multiple changes to the organisation especially in this cluster, does leave a lasting memory.
At the same time, watching my team continuously grow and everyone pushing hard towards the same direction is satisfying.

What is your greatest achievement in life?
Being able to repay the faith that both of my parents had in me all these while. My life has been such an adventure and they never stop to believe in me, this has allow me to really focus and work for my goals to get where I am now.

What or who inspires you in your life and at work?
In life it’s my dad. He was also a finance professional and where I got the idea of becoming one to start with. He teaches me the importance of continuous learning by allowing me to make my own mistakes and recover from it.

At work it will be the colleagues without a doubt. It has always been from day one and until now, this is the main reason that gets me going.

What is the best thing about working at Santa Fe?
Again, it will be the colleagues. Challenges may come in different forms and difficulties, but with the people around me, nothing seems impossible.

What is the best thing about our horse?
For me it shows reliability and speed which I believe is part of the factors important to our customer. Having relocated in the past myself, I can say this is what I value in order for a smooth transition.

What is the best advice you can give to people
Life is about continuous learning. One need to be able to self-review and identify their own weaknesses. From there on, we can keep on improving ourselves and add value to the people around us.

What would you do in the event of a zombie apocalypse?
Find cover and survive first. The rest can be decided after.

There are now 25 hours in a day, how would you spend the extra hour?
The additional hour will go to the family. Spending time with them.
a

If you could travel anywhere, where would you go?
I would love to be able to travel around the world, learning about a country’s history and culture of its people.
