Travel ban from the United Kingdom
All entries into Spanish territory have been suspended for all travellers from the United Kingdom until 19th, January
Who will be affected?
All citizens from UK, except Spanish nationals or residents.
Background
Due to the expansion of Covid – 19 in UK, in order to limit the spread and contagion, the Spanish Government has ruled Ministers Council Conference on 29th December, 2020.
Impact
• Borders closed for travellers from the United Kingdom.
• Direct flights and passenger ships between the United Kingdom and Spanish airports and ports are limited.
• Border control in Gibraltar is also reinforced.
Implementation
Royal Decree declaring the state of alarm due to the health crisis caused by COVID-19 issued on 1st of January, 2021 and be effective from 5th of January, 2021 after its publication in the BOE (State Official Gazette.)

Based on the evolution of COVID-19 in the United Kingdom, the situation could be modified.
