End of flight ban on passenger flights from South Africa, Central and South America
There is no longer a ban on passenger flights from South Africa and the countries in Central and South America as of 1 June 2021. However, there are certain requirements that need to be met before departure and after arrival in the Netherlands.
1. Two negative test results; PCR test and Rapid test
A negative NAAT(PCR)- test result PLUS a negative rapid test result needs to be presented before departure.

2. Mandatory quarantine
Mandatory self-quarantine for 10 days applies upon arriving in the Netherlands
3. Quarantine declaration form
At arrival, a completed quarantine declaration form needs to be presented. Please complete the quarantine declaration available which is available via the following link:

4. Health declaration for air travel
If you are travelling by air you must fill in a health declaration and carry it with you. Some airlines allow you to complete this health declaration digitally when you check in

EU Entry ban
Please note, the EU entry ban is still in place. You can only travel to the Netherlands if you fall into one of the exemption categories for the travel ban.
