Update | Disruption of relocation services in Ukraine, Belarus and Russia. We’re here to help.

Current situation

The provision of relocation services, including moving services, are severely disrupted within and to/from Ukraine, Belarus and Russia. All service delivery areas are impacted, from origin to destination services, including the shipping of international and domestic freight.

Our top priority is to ensure the safety of our customers and employees during the delivery of services. Household goods and other matters can be handled once people are safe.

As a result of these disruptions, we expect significant cost increases and service delays. Our payment terms may be updated on a case-by-case basis.

While our Russian office remains operational at the time of this update and continues to support our customers wherever possible, our Ukrainian office is at this moment not operational, apart from maintaining ongoing communication with assignees and corporate customers.

Please take note of the following:

Limited freight options

• Some shipping lines have temporarily suspended service from Russian ports—COSCO, Evergreen, FESCO, Hapag Lloyd, Maersk, MSC, OOCL and SACO but they still carry out transportation from Baltic ports.
• Other sea carriers continue their service but with limited capacity.
• Santa Fe Russia will advise all possible options for cargo shipments.
• Airfreight from Russia remains possible, although route options are limited.

Customs regulations

Currently, there is no change in the customs regulations or procedures for delivering services in the Russian Federation.

Secured storage facilities availability

Santa Fe can advise on available long-term storage options if the international movement of goods cannot be delivered.

We will actively monitor this highly volatile situation and adapt accordingly to do whatever we can to support you and your assignees. We will keep you informed of any further developments on a regular basis.

Additional support

• We will offer packing material and assistance where relevant, where humanitarian organisations collect aid to send to Ukraine.
• Where relevant, we can offer our trucks/drivers to transport such aid to the Ukrainian border or areas where refugees are located.
